Happy Halloween, everyone! It’s my favorite day of the year.
I’ve always been fond of running around at night in a costume, regardless of whether or not I got any candy.
Tonight, me and Emily are SUMMONING SPIRITS. No, legit. We’re using a Ouija board (made of paper… shuddup) and we hope to finally do something mystical and magical on All Hallow’s Eve.
After my extensive Halloween costume planning since March or April (late this year… I’m usually planning by January!), I don’t even have a blonde wig. I’m being Mello from Death Note (and Emily’s being Matt) because we’re cool like that. It’s almost to see if ANYONE recognizes us at all. Unfortunately, without the wig, I probably won’t look very much like Mello, so it’s a bit of a problem. BUT I HAVE CHOCOLATE!

My family is totally NOT into Halloween, so we don’t even have pumpkins. We have NO decorations whatsoever. In fact, all day today, my family is running around going to multiple sports games and might not even do anything Halloween related, which makes me ashamed to be related to them. It’s freaking Halloween!
But then again, I belong to a family of hermits who hate doing anything for any holiday unless they have to, so…

If you want Halloween, just move to my house. Seriously. We decorate the entire first floor of our house, even if everyone who comes by doesn’t see it. (The part by the front door is the only part that’s REALLY decorated well, though.) Actually, Halloween is sort of a source of stress and tension in my house, because we always have so much stuff to do. It always turns out okay, though. Halloween is like, almost a religious sort of obligation at my house. o_0
